Overview
We’re currently supporting a programme that requires an experienced Workday Financials Consultant to join on an initial contract.
This role will focus on hands-on delivery across Workday Financials, with particular involvement in core finance areas such as Record-to-Report and Procure-to-Pay. You’ll be working within a wider delivery team, contributing to implementations and/or enhancements in a complex environment.
It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, while also working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Workday Financials across key functional areas
- Configure and optimise modules including R2R and P2P
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Contribute to design discussions and solution decisions
- Assist with testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Ensure solutions are aligned with best practice and business needs
- Collaborate with wider teams to support overall programme delivery
Required Experience
- Proven experience working on Workday Financials implementations or enhancements
- Hands-on configuration experience across core Financials modules
- Strong understanding of finance processes, particularly R2R and P2P
- Workday Financials certification (or previously certified)
- Experience working in delivery-focused, client-facing environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Desirable Experience
- Experience across multiple Workday Financials projects
- Exposure to complex or large-scale programme environments
- Understanding of integrations or data flows within Workday
- Experience working across international teams or remote environments
