Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

Duration: 12-month initial contract

Overview
We’re currently working on a programme that requires an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to come in and support delivery on an initial contract.
The role is very much hands-on, centred around building and enhancing planning solutions, while working closely with stakeholders in a client-facing environment.
It would suit someone who is comfortable getting into the detail, while also engaging with the business to shape effective planning outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on configuration within Workday Adaptive Planning
- Develop and refine planning models to support business needs
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting outputs
- Work with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
- Contribute to the successful delivery of ongoing project work
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to best practice
Required Experience
- Strong experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Track record of building models, dashboards, and reports
- Good understanding of financial planning and forecasting cycles
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and end users
- Able to translate business needs into system-based solutions
- Clear communication skills and a practical, delivery-focused approach
Desirable Experience
- Experience working on full lifecycle Adaptive implementations
- Background in finance, FP&A, or related areas
- Exposure to international projects or multi-country environments
- Additional language skills are a plus
