Workday Financials Solution Architect

Overview

We are supporting a large-scale transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Workday Financials Solution Architect.

This role will take ownership of end-to-end solution architecture across a complex programme with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

This opportunity is well suited to a senior architect who combines strong Workday Financials expertise with the ability to lead design, drive decisions, and operate with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for Workday Financials
• Lead architectural design across a large, complex transformation programme
• Define high-level and detailed solution designs
• Drive integration strategy across Workday and wider enterprise systems
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and third-party partners
• Provide technical leadership and act as design authority across the programme
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance
• Support delivery to ensure scalable, robust, and best-practice solutions

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Workday Financials Solution Architect
• Strong experience leading architecture within large-scale transformation programmes
• Deep knowledge of Workday Financials modules
• Experience designing and delivering integrations (APIs, middleware, legacy systems)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Desirable Experience

• Experience across multi-region or global programme delivery
• Exposure to data platforms, reporting, or finance analytics solutions
• Knowledge of architecture governance frameworks and SDLC
• Experience working in fast-paced or regulated environments
